Not only is it embarrassing and can result in multiple fees from your bank and the merchant where your check was returned, the merchant may no longer accept your checks in the future. Our Overdraft Privilege program is designed to help guard you against having your checks returned to avoid this situation.
*If you overdraw your account, the current fee is $30.00 per item. An encouragement fee of $5.00 per business day will be charged after the tenth business day that the account remains overdrawn. A fee may be imposed for covering overdrafts "created by check," in person withdrawal, ATM withdrawal, bill payments, external transfers, wire transfers, and ACH transactions. Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary and we reserve the right not to pay. We typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.
